The Friends of the Company of Four is an organisation that supports the Company of Four, both financially by making regular donations to their funds and by publicity to and by the members who pay £7.50 per person per year to become an official Friend

There are in excess of 300 members who greatly support the Company of Four by:

*purchasing tickets for the various stage shows
*spreading the word about the shows performed
*purchasing raffle tickets at the shows
*donating raffle prizes

In return for these invaluable contributions, the Friends are given:

*priority booking of theatre seats
*complimentary programme at the various shows or *discount on seat prices
*invitation to Friends evenings
*invitation to coach outings

Whenever possible, funds are made available to purchase items that are additional to the day to day running of the Company and recently, the Friends bought an electronic keyboard and a top of the range CD player/recorder. These items have been regularly used since they were purchased. It is the intention to make further purchases in the near future.

SOCIAL

As well as supporting the Company of Four, The Friends also have several social gatherings during each year. Highlights of 2011 have been:

- Peterborough Ice Show
- Aylsham railway and Wroxham Broads river trip
- Southend shopping and Theatre to see Buddy Holly Story
- Warners – Bembridge Coast Hotel for 4-day holiday
- London Theatre(s) to see Dreamboats & Petticoats (twice) and Billy Elliott
- Southwold and Gorleston Pavilion Theatre for musical variety show
- Norwich shopping and Theatre Royal to see ‘All the fun of the fair’ (David Essex)

FUND RAISING! 
The forthcoming pantomime production of Puss in Boots will see the Friends organising a Daily Draw where draw tickets will be sold at all performances.
